Yes, it’s a brilliant day in JambiLand. Not only do I have my first solo print out today, but I also have an ebook out! How totally cool is that!

On Dec. 9, 2008 my very first story was published. It was in an anthology for Freya’s Bower. It was a sweet romance—um—behind closed doors. And I remember the editor telling me…Sweet! It’s supposed to be sweet! They can’t do that. lol Um…now I’ve written a ménage…yeah….that was all out sex-o-roma. Okay—not really. Who knew that two years and eight months later I would have nineteen ebooks out! I certainly didn’t. I also dreamed of having my own print book out and today—that happens. I have other prints out. Four to be exact, but they are all anthologies.

The print book that is out today is Alliance Volume 1. This has Retribution (m/m sci-fi) and Salvation (m/m/f sci-fi). There will be two more books in this series and I’m working on one right now. There will be four total Alliance books and hopefully two prints.

The ebook that is out today is called Inequities. This is book three in my Seeds of Dawn series. I’m super excited about this series. My second print book will be out with this series. Seeds of Dawn Volume 1 which will have Dreams and Secrets in it. This series is an m/f shifter series. Um—for now. Lol I write both m/m and m/f. This series was supposed to be all m/f, but my yahoo group – Heat Wave- had a few members get together and bid on me in an auction. What was up for bid? A character and they wanted a gay character. Lol So the man they won, Peter, will be introduced in Inequities. You’ll see him a little in book 4, Origins, and then he’ll get his story told in the last book Redemption. I hope people will grow to love Peter like I did and really want to see his story.

Okay—I probably should have said Stellar Year. It really has been a great year for my career. In October I get to go to New Orleans. GayRomLit. I can’t wait. This event is basically a thank you from the authors to the readers. It is geared for people who love to read and write GLBT. I have so many authors that I want to fan girl. Lol I’m going as an author and am sponsoring a Vamp Tour (should be fun) AND Jaime Samms, Belinda McBride and I are hosting a lunch for four to five lucky readers! I should probably get with them soon so we can figure out where we’re taking our readers. Lol

What’s coming up? Well—I’m working on the last two Alliance books tentatively titled Freedom and Reward. Those will both be m/m. Then I’ll write the last Seeds of Dawn book, Redemption. I just signed a contract for Rayne’s Wild Ride. This is m/m contemporary and will be released by Total e Bound. That should be out in October. I turned in Magnus. The first book in my Semper Fi series. This was previously released by Liquid Silver. I got my rights back and added about 7k to it, making it, still, my longest story to date at 60,000 words.

I really enjoyed Steamy Reunion by Jambrea Jo Jones; it’s the kind of story where the good guy does win…and it doesn’t even take to the end. It’s also a story about something that many people—okay I did—worry about: the high school reunion…duh, duh, duh duh.

Okay maybe it’s not *that* big a deal, but I do admit to experiencing a certain amount of trepidation heading to my 10, then 25 year reunions…and I didn’t have any romantic interest from back then.  Of course even if I had, my husband would probably put the kibosh on that. *grin*

Any-ways….

Back to the review:  I could certainly relate to Ambrose’s very unpleasant memories of high school. Those years can be some of the worst and toughest to go through, but I could also see, for him, the draw for going to the reunion. Being as hung up on someone as Ambrose was on Noah—and really it wasn’t any surprise once we met said hot stud—is as good a reason as any in my book.

I can also understand his reasons for hiring a “date.”  But from then on, Ms. Jones took me on a wild ride that didn’t go as I had expected, but one that I certainly enjoyed to the utmost.

This isn’t a change-your-life story, but it is fun, sexy and wonderfully entertaining.
