Well most of you know my motto the only thing better then m/m is m/m/m.

Polar Reaction is now my most favorite book by Claire Thompson, you can’t help but fall in love with this story…

Claire writes an emotionally packed love story between three men that will make you weep, laugh and cuss. They don’t fall in love to fast or to easily, she makes them work for it. Nothing comes easy, but if they didn’t have to work at it, it wouldn’t be worth it. Claire inserts just enough reality to make the story believable but not to much to turn off the readers who want a love story they can escape into.

Tucker has been in love with Brendan, since a previous job the two of them worked together and Brendan has feeling for Tucker but he is a loss as to what they are or how to express them. Jamie is attracted to them both.

Being trapped in the Antarctic brings strong emotions and some jealousy to the forefront. Will the three of them find a common ground and what happens when they are rescued and return to ‘real life’

Brendan is the one to run scared, determined that his feelings were a result of the highly charged emotions of being trapped and the possibility of not being rescued. One of those fun yet slightly annoying e-mails that show up in your inbox that your supposed to copy and paste, add your own answers and send it on to friends… well one showed up over at Facebook and after some thought I decided what the hell if Claire was game so was I. CLAIRE’S 25 FIRSTS

1. Who was your FIRST prom date?

I never went to the prom.

2. Do you still talk to your FIRST love?

Nope. We lost touch when he went off to West Point and then was stationed in Germany. Tom Dillon, wonderful guy.

3. What was your FIRST alcoholic drink?

Crème de Banana liquor – I believe I was about three years old and I drank it out of a liquor glass my parents left out from a party the night before. I loved it!

4. What was your FIRST job?

Weeding cotton fields on a kibbutz in Israel at the age of fifteen.

5. What was your FIRST car?

A Ford Capri. It was really cute, until I totaled it, oops!

6. Who was the FIRST person to text you today?

Nobody so far!

7. Who is the FIRST person you thought of this morning?

My daughter, Zoë. Wondering if she was out of bed yet, getting ready for school.

8. Who was your FIRST grade teacher?

Her name was Mrs. Holdridge and she was horrible and mean. She sent me to the principal for chewing gum. I managed to find my way there, crying hysterically. The principal was so nice. He couldn’t understand what I was saying, when I said through my tears and snuffles that I was there because I was chewing gum. He said, “What, honey, do you have a tummy ache?” When he finally understood, he patted my head and smiled at me kindly and whispered, “Don’t worry. I won’t tell anyone. It’ll be our secret.” I felt like I’d been pardoned at the guillotine. Mrs. Holdridge also grabbed my paper when we were practicing writing our names, because I had colored in the e on my name and she was outraged by this. She held it up to the class and said how disgraceful it was. She was a total bitch.

9. Where did you go on your FIRST ride on an airplane?

My dad took us three girls up in his private airplane when I was three years old. I was sitting in the middle between them. I got airsick and vomited on BOTH my sisters. They never let me forget this!

10. Who was your FIRST best friend & do you still talk?

Her name was Erin and I haven’t seen or talked to her since 1967, when my family moved away.

11. Where was your FIRST sleep over?

I have no idea.

12. Who was the FIRST person you talked to today?

My husband.

13. Whose wedding were you in the FIRST time?

My oldest sister.

14. What was the FIRST thing you did this morning?

Lay in bed thinking about my dreams.

15. What was the FIRST concert you ever went to?

Jethro Tull. 1974. Boy, did they ROCK.

16. FIRST tattoo?

A Celtic love knot on my left breast, about the size of a quarter, very pretty in teal and black. Symbolizes the undying circle of love between me and my husband.

17. First piercing?

My ears (only piercing). I was 23 and terrified. I fainted dead away after the first one! I am such a wuss. (fainted during the tattoo too!)

18. First foreign country you’ve been to?

Korea was the first, when I was seven. Spent a year there with my family (stepfather in army). Was a terrific experience.

19. FIRST movie you remember seeing?

Mary Poppins! I was four years old and it was at a drive in and I LOVED it and I loved the popcorn too!

20. When was your FIRST detention?

I was never in detention ever. I was a total goodie two shoes on the outside, and a total devil on the inside! I was just too smart to get busted.

21. What was the first state you lived in?

Texas. Born in Galveston, then moved to Fort Worth and then Houston. Then Korea, then back to States – Philadelphia, Valley Forge, Scarsdale NY, back to Houston, off to Israel on my own (to a kibbutz for a year, best experience of my life), then back to Houston, then off to Boston for college, then back to Houston for a guy, arrgghh! Then to Dallas for ten years then flew the coop to New York and here I’ve been for the last 12 years! Phew!

22. Who was your FIRST roommate?

Ellen Warshowsky, my roommate on the kibbutz.

23. If you had one wish, What would it be?

John Lennon’s song Imagine sums it up.

24. What is something you would learn if you had the chance?

To be fluent in French. I would like to live there to really immerse myself in the language and the culture. Might do it yet!

25. First Kiss.

Jonathan Rafe. I was in third grade. He was in fourth. It was in his tree house. He was the handsomest boy in the world and I’d had a crush on him forever (I never went through an “I hate boys” phase – I always lusted after them!). It was his idea to exchange the kiss and at the last second I turned my head away and refused. But eventually we did kiss, just a closed mouth press of lips and my heart was going a million miles an hour. But he decided he liked another girl better than me (she was nine and more mature!) – my first broken heart.

I have to admit when I first started reading erotic romance that BDSM wasn’t not my thing, I thought “now why do want to read about someone getting whipped or more…”
But after reading a Claire Thompson BDSM romance I’ve been convertedJ lol
The first BDSM I read by Claire was Masked Submission and probably the one that converted me (review for that one to come later) but Claire was sweet and sent me this book so I wanted to get my thoughts on the book out there right away as it is newer then the other.
A lot of people think BDSM is some perversion and let me to tell you it is anything but, the way Claire tells it, it can be a beautiful thing!
Josh wants very much to find a D/s romance, but financial woes lead him to Dungeon Dreams where he is quite a popular sub. Enter Michael who still isn’t sure why he is gong to Dungeon Dreams since he can have any sub he wants but still that is where he finds himself and then he meets Slave J and even though he knows it can’t be he still finds himself falling in love with the unexpected way that Slave J responds to him.
They soon find themselves in relationship but Michael is having a hard time reconciling his feeling toward Josh’s job and Josh is about to have trouble he’s not sure how to deal with, that could very well damage the new budding relationship with Michael.
You will love reading this book – It is a very beautiful, loving and YES super HOT romance – It gets one of my highest recommendations – if you’re a BDSM reader then buy this one – even if you not trust me this book will be the one to convert you – believe me the relationship between these to men is something beautiful to behold – the immediate reaction that Josh has to Michael is BEAUTIFUL!!
Be sure to have your own man or woman handy because I promise your going to want themJ lol

I have finally wiped away the tears of from reading Handyman – You must buy this book if you’re looking for an awesome book to read – even if your not looking – This is a book to rival Regularly Scheduled Life and I wasn’t shy about how much I loved that book so that should give you an idea how much I loved this book

This is a great coming out story – although widower Jack isn’t in the closet parse as much as just figuring out who he is after a 20+ year marriage – He meets Will who is gay and is very attracted to him and since Will is as unsure of Jacks sexual orientation as Jack is of his own – the growing friendship brings up a past issue for Jack that leads them to some tense moments but in my opinion beautifully sweet and tender moments – it is one of the best budding romance relationship stories I have read.

This book is very emotional you will feel for both men and want to cuddle and take away all their fears:-)

Oh and so I don’t mislead this book is also HOT HOT HOT -

I really hope we see more about the characters in this book there are a few who I think deserve their own book.

I highly recommend you buy this book you won’t be disappointed
