Twice The Novice by Debra Glass

Debra Glass weaves a wonderful tale in her book Twice The Novice. I was drawn into Anne and Axel’s world right from the start. The two make a wonderful couple, complimenting each other very nicely.
I really enjoyed watching their love unfold as Axel trains her. Anne is a strong woman who must put aside her pride and let Axel in. Axel is a man who takes honor seriously and will fight for what he wants. No matter how hard he tries Axel finds himself drawn to Anne and fights his attraction to her with his sense of duty.
The sexual tension between trainer and novice is a wonderful read. I loved the way Anne blossoms under Axel’s touch and how she melts his heart when she finally confesses her faults to him. The kindness he shows Anne when she confesses to him was a nice read that endeared Axel even more to me.
Debra Glass not only writes about wonderful well-developed characters that are full of emotions and depth she also paints a wonderful world with her vivid descriptions of their castle and the people within. Making this story a great read.
